Has anyone read it?

I'm about 25% through it and love it! One thing is certain - kings, queens, and all the court were not afforded much privacy at all. Especially kings and queens as they were the property of the people and were expected to produce heirs. People looked on as newlywed royalty consummated their marriages -- this was normal and expected!

It was also expected that monarchs hid signs of aging as perception was reality. Queen Elizabeth I put on gobs of white foundation, which ended up containing extremely high levels of lead.

Lots of really awesome detail about clothing, food, shelter, customs, etc., etc...

If you're not a Tudor-era enthusiast, don't buy it. It's definitely for us who love all things Tudor.
