A zoo will name a Madagascar hissing cockroach after an ex. It requires a donation ... I want folks to know about this, but I don't want to violate the important 'no soliciting' guideline.
I also hope the program will give readers a laugh. It sure gave me one.

I read somewhere a few years ago that for a donation, a local shelter would name a cat after your ex and then neuter it.

Appropriate. Cheaters, like cockroaches, congregate in the dark and then scatter the moment the light switch flips on.

Here’s a few from my past:
To the guy in HS who was gay but tried to pretend he wasn’t, convinced me to be his girlfriend, and out of the blue broke up with me on my birthday - there’s one for you.
To the guy who decided not to be in a long distance relationship (which was HIS idea) and broke up with me on my birthday — there’s one for you.
To the guy who was an alcoholic (at 18) with deep rooted insecurities that tried to prevent me from educating myself and getting a better job, and ruined a number of birthdays — there’s one for you too.
And to my husband, who gave me my birthday gift and made an odd comment, to which I thought "that’s odd. I wonder if he’s cheating" on my birthday in 2013 - there is one for you too.
And people wonder why I don’t have big birthday celebrations lol.

I truly hope they keep those hiding flying he!! Bugs locked up good and tight. I am not that far from Brookfield and don’t want to wake up with a demon roach (or a cheater again for that matter :)
I must be healing a bit, believe it or not.
I would love to donate to the zoo, have gotten a chuckle out of the concept since they started doing it in Texas (genius move). But I would rather donate a bag? Of flamingo food in honor of the holiday or even some zebra pellets? anonymously than I would think of the Chex (cheating ex) or give him even one more second of fame or living rent-free in my head.
Happy soon to be day of love to all!
