Too Trusting I hope your dog is doing better!
I loved the one about trying to explain a juke box. My Mom was a preschool teacher and at one point - probably in the late 1990s / early 2000s - she was playing records on a record player for some of her students and one of them said "Mrs. S that's an awfully big CD"

outofsorts,
Thanks for your good wishes for my dog. It's been scary for the last few days. Spent the day at vet ER yesterday because my regular vet was triple-booked and couldn't work us in. This morning, I was on the phone with my regular vet and the vet ER, planning to take him back today to be hospitalized. But, I had to go walk a dog first (what I do for a living), and when I got home, he was MUCH perkier!!! He even ate a small bit of chicken & rice and I was thrilled because he hadn't eaten in nearly 2 days. So far, he's been able to keep it down AND he ate more at dinner. So I think we've turned a corner, thank goodness!!
