A cowboy, a recovering drug addict, and an emotionally unavailable divorcee with anger issues.
I told my sister it’s like I’m reliving 1990
The church guy, I cannot get a bead on him. I’ll see him again in a few days.

I get it. I really do. Thanks for the laugh.

I'm still voting for the church guy, but then again I'm a guy so I don't get the whole cowboy attraction...

Cowboy: super nice in person but terrible online presence. Our politics do not jive at all. This may be a problem. Also he has weird hair though lots of it. He got it cut recently and looks much better.
Drug addict: 15 years sober but still goes to meetings, good for him. Looks like a fat jack nicholson. Also is the type who thinks he’s in love with any woman who is nice to him.
Angry brooding emotionally unavailable: Arguably the hottest of the group but does not seem to know how to talk to me.
Church guy: The one I actually want but he doesn’t like or comment on my Facebook posts and pictures (I’m
On vacation righty now and posting tons of stuff daily) even though I can see from the stalker feature on the app that he’s online.
Whereas the other three do comment and like.
My friend sagely said, “it’s always the ones you aren’t interested in who give you all the attention and the one you want who ignores you. Don’t you remember that from when you were 16 years old?” 😂😂

Defending my guy...
Facebook shows you are online if you have the app installed on your phone. He may not see your posts if he doesn't use FB much. I have it just for the messenger client. FB also has a goofy algorithm to decide which posts show up in your feed. I know I can go months without liking any post. Does he post on FB? Have you liked one of his if he does?

It takes more than having the app installed. The list of people across the top changes as people actually open and close the app. He is on only very briefly like for 10-15 minutes snd then will be off. But he is not very tech savvy, he has a computer but no internet at home because he doesn’t use it. He only goes online on his phone, he told me.
He posts very sparingly. Like once a month.
I’ll get a better feel when I get back into town in a couple days. I have not texted him since I’ve been gone nor he me. I felt like I was coming on too strong and needed to give him some space.

Keep yourself out there and don't settle with the first.
I multi-dated last summer.....yep during a pandemic. It gave me a really good reason NOT to get physical with anyone even if I wanted to! All our dates involved walking with a coffee. Anyone that didn't like that option didn't get a date lol.
I ended up seeing 2 of them (they knew that) for a few dates and ultimately chose my favourite, whom I'm still with and he's everything I wanted. I wasn't physically attracted at first, but his personality and passions ended up sparking my interest. Now, he is the hottest guy I know because he's just so GOOD.
The sky is the limit for you.

I was thinking this thread was going to head in the direction of the old school dating game show where we as the "live studio audience" get to help vote on the contestants...
And this:
"A cowboy, an addict, a divorcee and a minister walk into a bar........."
That's an oldie, but a goodie. How does it go again josie?
PS: good on you freetogonow for your new beginnings!
2012 pretty much sucked.
Things no longer suck.

I've had people message me in the middle of the night asking why I'm awake because my messenger is showing active - wake up to those messages in the morning very confused because I was asleep in bed like the lil angel that I am. I wouldn't put too much stock in FB messenger showing him as active.

Ouch. FWIW from my experience it easy to like by accident on a touch screen phone.

I don't like much on Facebook... just FYI.
I either comment with words or I don't respond at all.

That has always seemed the opposite of taking it easy to me. My wife drove out to Az with the middle child last summer as their first real job was there. Drove through Winslow on the way.
