Today I get to tell my story. This is what I have been waiting for for 6 years. Trial prep was lengthy, albeit emotional, and went well. I feel ready. I actually slept fairly well last night, for the first time in a week. I'll update when I can.
Can you make a complaint with the state bar association? That his attorneys are making knowingly false statements to the court
BP, this isn't off the table. His attorneys have numerous pieces of discovery, that I have provided them, that disprove their claim. The motion appears sloppy and hastily written. They're clearly throwing things at the wall to see what will stick. In fact the date on a piece of paperwork they are citing is 3 months in the FUTURE. And my current age is off by 4 years. Like what the hell...

Keep the faith. Glad you are continuing to move forward and stand up to this jerk.
Sending you strength and support- to both you and your attorney!!!
May he end up looking like the loser he is when this is done. 🙏

Thinking of you.
So glad you are telling you story - long time coming. Hope it gives you some relief to speak your truth.
(Got my dual middle fingers loaded in my holsters too in case they're needed.)
Be kind to yourself the rest of the week - emotional exhaustion and coming down from that self-protection/court mode is a real thing.
2012 pretty much sucked.

Argh, continuance. Put off another month. STBX's side attack has created problems with the main case going forward. Can't make this shit up.

Update!! Small but significant victory. The judge ruled on the side issue which is holding up my case, and found completely in our favor!!
Onward!

Glad to hear the positive news!!!!
The STBXH is now really going to become unhinged. Be prepared.
He keeps getting beaten down in court. He will have some new tactic - just wait for it.

Oh, forgot to mention, a couple of days ago we finally received stbx's latest financial discovery. He's been in his latest "committed" relationship since last Octoberish, and dated her a few months before that. He's still paying for a Bumble subscription every month. And there were one time charges on his credit card for adult friend finder, and a website called "Love to Cheat."
What price for freedom...indeed.

Edited very long post.
STBX attorney now demanding records in direct violation of the most recent court order/ bleep victory. How is this guy in practice?
The judge is not going to be happy.
We responded asking for sanctions.

On this site, we generally assume that cheating is entirely the fault of the wayward spouse. It's because something is broken in them. This is an important concept because the betrayed spouse has the commonly stupid habit of accepting blame for affairs.
Yeah, really, the cheating had nothing to do with you Bleep.
Is it weird that I fantasize about a reality TV show in which our ex's try to date each other, with all of the dirty details included? What an entertaining shit-show that would be.

Am I remembering correctly that you are in the vicinity of the Southeastern US? Florida maybe? We can probably arrange that. 😂 I'll bring the popcorn, you bring the beverages.
ArkLaMiss, no new updates. Early August is trial date. I'm gathering more evidence of stbx's shady ways. The delay is definitely proving beneficial. My case is strong and I am feeling more confident.
I've been struggling with a bit of depression the past few weeks. I forced myself to go out and jog a couple of miles this evening. It's hard when random joints hurt for no reason. Feeling every bit of my 47 years! I'm trying to reach out to friends and stay connected. It's helping. Deep breaths...
