And or related to moving past aversions or disgust feelings likely brought on by prior sexual traumas?

I don’t 😕 I was hoping to get suggestions from peeps on here. It’s something I’m sorting through that is so challenging, a good book would be nice to refer to. Buuuuut if nothing comes of this forum I’ll totally as my therapist on Monday and if she has suggestions I’ll post them here so we can both benefit 😊

Lionne & Aprilfool1985
Went to therapy today, the suggestion she had for now was what she said is an oldie called Courage to Heal. Last night I was also digging around and found a book called Life, Reinvented: A Guide to Healing from Sexual Trauma for Survivors and Loved ones by Erin Carpenter which I was considering getting. It got good reviews. I also ran into (and often heard about) The Body Keeps the Score however I’m not sure if that one would be good for this scenario also…

Thanks! I'll check them out.
RE The Body Keeps the Score...I absolutely believe in the premise and I think I'm living it. But I found the book short on ideas about what to DO about it all.
Appreciate the research.

Thank you Lionne! I read a few reviews on it as well and had gathered from the reviews that it may not be exactly what I was needing right now. It seemed to be more educational and recounting of stories but I wanted something that delved into solutions just like you mentioned. I appreciate you letting me know
