Hi,

Hope everyone is well.

I just signed up for Hulu and saw at some point there is a movie on it about an affair. I know there are a lot, which really make A almost romantic :(.

Anyway this movie tells the story of the agony of the BS. If anyone knows what I'm talking about I would love to know what its called.

Thanks.

Squish.

A marriage story is pretty realistic about the devastation but I think that was Netflix

I think you might be talking about Hope Gap? I’ve heard others say that it shows the true agony for the BS.

I suspect it's Hope Gap, which I think does show a lot of the agony, but also paints the BS in a pretty bad light.

The streaming show that I thought best depicted it was the Dr. Foster series (I think it's Netflix). Season 2 was beyond the pale, but the first several episodes of season 1 show this very put together physician pretty much losing her sh*t bc her spouse is cheating.

If I may, why do you want to watch it?

Hi GMC94,

yes it was Hope Gap, and last year I watched Dr Foster. its a British program and I have been missing all things british while ive been in the states.

To be honest, ive been allowing myself to ignore what has happened once in a while because its too much. But when I allow this I know thats its very easy to stay in that state of ... oh it didnt happen, I dont want to face it... like being oblivious is bliss... cant think of the saying...

I dont want to forget what has happened because im worried that agony which im feeling less of now, but is still there might fade away if I let it. So being reminded is a good way to not forget... its so twisted. I found Dr Foster really hard to watch. I was very much triggered even though I didnt know it was happening in our own home.

While watching Hope Gap I just felt numb...

There is a series on Amazon called The Affair... that I cant watch... the current now A happening is worse for me to watch. Im having a really hard time accepting that A happened. barf
