Hi it has happened to me occasionally where I can’t reply to a private message? Wondering if I might be doing something wrong.

I'm not sure why this happened, so I'm alerting the mods to see if they can help.

What happens when you attempt to respond? Does this happen on all messages or just one specifically? Are you able to initiate a new private message?

I did just publish an update and I've been known to break things. laugh

Too funny. Clearly I break things too . Nothing happens when I send message. It just hangs and says loading. Been nearly 4 days of trying. Took me 2 days to get smart and type one word rather than 50.

I haven't been on SI for a while, and last time I experienced problems with saving changes to my profile.

So I left it as is.

Today, however, I wanted to post an update on my sobriety journey and finally figured out the problem!

Years ago, I had a heart symbol for I (heart) my husband. Today the heart was gone and replaced with numbers and characters. I deleted those and replaced with the word love.

Success!

I was to update my story, etc.
